Background

I am a 1995 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I am seeking part-time or full-time employment as an associate dentist in Northern Michigan, having recently relocated to Petoskey. I would consider locum tenen opportunities in the interim. I owned a solo general practice in a small community in Northern Michigan for 18 years, treating a variety of patients ranging in age (pediatric to geriatric) and socio-economic status. I am both capable, and interested in providing the same, excellent care going forward. I enjoy my patients as much as they enjoy me, and have been told many times that I have a “gentle touch”, and how easy it is to sit in my chair. The practice environment that I seek is one with a focus on prevention and comprehensive care, because a healthy dentition creates a stable foundation for restoration. I enjoy doing all phases of general dentistry, complete with the complexities that come with the different disciplines. I believe that patient education is extremely important in maintaining good oral health, and it cannot be overlooked when it comes to the overall success of patient care. I pride myself on taking the time necessary to assure patient understanding, and consider myself an excellent communicator.
