Registered Dental Hygienist in Beautiful Northern Michigan

We are seeking a registered dental hygienist (RDH) for our practice in Boyne City, Mich., working Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an expected pay rate of $50-$60 per hour.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (No Fridays, weekends, or major holidays)
Pay Rate: $50 – $60 per hour (commensurate with experience). Located in the heart of Boyne City, Mich., our privately owned dental practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate oral care in a supportive team environment. Key responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polish teeth.
• Perform comprehensive periodontal screenings and document conditions (e.g., gingivitis, caries, periodontitis).
• Take and interpret digital diagnostic radiographs/X-rays.
• Apply preventive sealants and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients of all ages on customized home care and post-procedure maintenance.
• Manage complete patient charting, notes, and records via Dentrix software.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA and clinic-level infection control and instrument sterilization protocols [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].

Qualifications and requirements:
• Current, active Michigan registered dental hygienist (RDH) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency or prior experience with Dentrix dental software.
• Friendly disposition with exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills [1, 2, 3].
