Registered Dental Hygienist

Simony Dental Group is seeking a full-time registered dental hygienist to join our growing team. Part-time candidates will also be considered.

Hours of operation:
Monday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
June through August: Wednesday and Thursday until 6 p.m.
One to two Fridays and Saturdays per month: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Appointment times:
We believe in providing thorough, personalized care without rushing our patients.
• Adult prophylaxis appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes.
• New patient appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes.
• Scaling and root planing appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes.

Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for monthly bonuses.

Responsibilities:
• Provide thorough dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive services such as fluoride treatments.
• Take digital dental X-rays and perform oral health assessments.
• Educate patients about oral hygiene, home care, and preventive treatment.
• Accurately document clinical findings and maintain organized patient charts.
• Use Dentrix for charting and scheduling.
• Follow all infection control, sterilization, and safety procedures.
• Deliver gentle, high-quality care and build strong patient relationships.
• Communicate with the front desk regarding patient treatment plans.

Qualifications:
• Active registered dental hygienist license in the state of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience using Dentrix dental software.
• General dentistry experience and familiarity with dental office procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Strong motivation, dependability, and work ethic.

Software and technology:
• Dentrix.
• Adit practice management software.
• Dexis.
• iTero.
• Digital X-rays.
